They were easy enough to do, but Sutton wasn't interested until I told her she could FaceTime her grandma after she was done and show it to her. It also helped when I said she could use a shiny bead for a nose instead of a Pom-Pom.
We colored the middle of the plates with apricot colored crayons, stapled on the hats (this particular red paper tends to bleed through when wet so I was trying to minimize the glue on it), then glued on the cotton balls and created eyes and a nose.
